SMCA, the MCA-based salt, is produced by mixing MCA with soda ash (Na2CO3) or caustic soda (NaOH).
2. Monochloroacetic Acid (M.C.A.)
MCA is made by reacting acetic acid with chlorine.
Eating, drinking or smoking while handling MCA/SMCA products is prohibited.
